The rakhis are usually made of the beads, artificial colored threads, sequins that are made of harmful chemicals. Big kids can manage these rakhi but about the small ones? Making Edible Rakhis -

1. Using a dental floss, you can insert a few candies (like polo), knot them and tie your kids as rakhis. This way, it can be a colorful treat for the tiny tots.

2. You can dip the gelatin candies in sugar syrup and arrange them on a thick thread. The soft candies will stick once the syrup dries up and can be wound around your child's hand.

3. If your kids like chocolates, you can also make bracelet using aluminium foil and carefully place the chocolate squares as they are studded with garnet stones and slide it into your kid's hand.

4. You can slice cheese like a rakhi strand and stick carrot, cucumber and tomato slices and arrange them at the centre with a piece of tooth pick.

5. Arrange all the biscuit pieces, chocolates, colorful candies like a kebab by inserting them into a thread (use a needle), Tie your kids like a colorful friendship band cum rakhi, they will love these rich edible rakhis.
