Drinks Men Should Avoid For Reproductive Health
Reproductive health in men is highly affected by consumption of few drinks. You should take care in avoiding or limiting these drinks that directly affect your reproductive health and risk infertility. Reversal of infertility is a tedious task which is a road you may wish to avoid. When children are part of future plan, it is important to stay healthy and positive to avoid be able to conceive when you decide to. Even the health of your child depends upon your lifestyle and health.
Alcohol is a major culprit when it comes to drinks that affect reproductive health in men. Heavy caffeine consumption has been associated with fertility problems. Plus, you won't want to overdo it when you are trying to become a parent. Caffeine interferes with your ability to absorb iron, can dehydrate you when consumed in high doses. Hence it's worth cutting back now.
Binge drinking
You should skip those crazy pub parties your buddies invite you while you're trying to conceive, or at least stick to sparkling water while you're there. These are not directly linked to damaging reproductive organs, though there are lots of ill effects associated with drinking excessive colas and energy drinks that are packed with caffeine and promoted to boost energy for a period of time. Carbonated drinks have a negative effect with digestive organs and causes constipation. Prolonged constipation problems have shown to affect the quality of blood. Similarly, drinking energy boosting drinks that are packed with caffeine can result in caffeine over dose and complications arising out of it.
