Having read and heard a lot about parenting, you might feel all ready to take up the job of bringing up your child.

But what happens the day the baby comes into your hands? Your mind goes blank and all lessons are forgotten. And the baby will not stop crying. What are you supposed to do? You start wondering why babies always cry.

Does Your Baby Always Cry?

Do not worry. Babies do not cry all the time. With time, you will have to understand your baby. Baby-care books do tell you a lot about how to care for a baby. They take into consideration all possible situations and give solutions accordingly. But you must remember that you do not get a manual with every baby. Every baby is an individual and hence, he or she too requires that individual treatment. One rule will not apply to all babies.

There are some babies who are quiet as a mouse. On the other hand, there are babies who will cry a lot. The constant crying might even drive you crazy. But be patient. A baby does not cry without reason. Here are some crying baby tips that will help you understand why babies cry.

Hungry
Do you remember when you last fed the baby? Check for meal times. Your baby grows very fast in the initial stages and accordingly, he/she needs to be fed. If you delay meal times, then the baby is sure to cry because that is the only form of communication known to him.

Sleepy
Sleep in another important requirement for every baby. A baby sleeping peacefully always presents a beautiful picture. But if you happen to deprive sleep to the baby, the same picture might turn into a nightmare.

Uncomfortable
One of the reasons why babies always cry is discomfort. Crying is the only way through which a baby can grab attention. So, every time a baby cries, it is probably due to some discomfort. Check the position in which the baby is lying or whether all the clothes are well-fitting or not. Too tight clothes with hurting elastic bands can be a cause. Or it is also possible that the baby had wet the diaper and wants a change.

Unwell
Is your baby keeping well? When you find that your baby is crying although everything seems okay, then check the baby's temperature. As a parent, it is your responsibility to check for reasons for the baby's crying. Being unwell could be one of the reasons for the baby's crying.

Unfamiliar surrounding
Some babies find it very difficult to adjust to changed situations and surroundings. If your baby is of this type, then you must be prepared. You will surely go out and so will your baby. Make sure to carry familiar objects to satisfy the baby and give him a feeling of familiarity.
