When Will Your Baby Bump Start Showing?
The most visible thing about your pregnancy is your baby bump. Women do put on weight during pregnancy, but it is the protruding belly that makes their pregnancy evident. It is only when your baby bump starts showing that everyone can identify you as a pregnant woman. That is why, women have many question and doubts about their baby bump.
When
Does
Baby
Bump
Start
Showing?
One
of
the
most
frequently
asked
questions
is,
'when
will
my
baby
bump
start
showing?'
Actually,
there
is
no
particular
answer
to
this
question.
The
time
differs
from
person
to
person.
Sometimes
the
bump
is
visible
in
the
early
stages
of
pregnancy.
For
some
women,
it
is
difficult
to
distinguish
the
baby
bump
even
when
they
are
well
into
the
second
trimester
of
their
pregnancy.
This point can be very well illustrated by taking the example of two famous pregnant celebrities; Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton. Kate Middleton is in the seventh month of her pregnancy and she still doesn't need maternity clothing. But Kim Kardashian started looking heavily pregnant from the time she was four months pregnant! Kate Middleton is blessed with a slim structure and thus, she looks petite even during her pregnancy. Kim on the other hand is voluptuous and thus is putting too much weight.
Ideal
Baby
Bump
Ideally,
your
baby
bump
should
start
showing
after
the
12th
week
of
your
pregnancy.
This
is
the
time
when
your
uterus
expands
and
grows
beyond
your
pelvic
girdle.
The
amount
of
your
amniotic
fluid
also
increases
around
this
time.
If
you
start
showing
before
this,
it
is
certainly
not
because
you
are
pregnant.
However,
if
you
have
had
a
very
difficult
first
trimester
you
may
start
showing
immediately
after
12
weeks.
Many
women
face
very
severe
morning
sickness
in
the
first
stage
of
their
pregnancy.
This
does
not
allow
them
to
put
on
too
much
weight
during
the
first
trimester.
Is
It
Baby
Bump
Or
Fat?
You
are
obviously
not
dieting
to
lose
weight
during
your
pregnancy.
Naturally,
your
tummy
starts
coming
out
quite
a
bit.
Most
women
think
that
it
is
their
baby
bump
showing
and
it
will
all
go
away
after
the
baby
is
born.
However,
sometimes
the
fat
accumulated
during
pregnancy
stays
on
after
childbirth
as
well.
So
watch
what
you
eat
because
your
growing
tummy
may
not
just
be
your
baby
bump.
