Mumbai is a hub of fashion streets. It is a city full of malls, showrooms and shops for shoppers but street shopping is the most exciting and fun filled way for shopping freaks. Lets have a look at the top 3 Mumbai fashion streets-

Fashion Street in M G Road, is a cluster of around 140 shops consisting of super malls to small shops. These shops sell all varieties of clothes and accessories updated according to the current trend. This is a dream place of trendy fashion. The fact that this street has wide variety of trends and style to offer, makes this one of the high demand shopping hubs of the city. One can find various exported fashionable clothes in Mumbai Fashion street and the best attraction is the low price which it quotes, unlike the other brands. It may be a turn off for The brand conscious shopaholics but even they can shop here for regular wears. The huge collection and variety may even end up changing the brand consciousness of some of them. One of the other major attraction of this street is bargaining. One can end up buying something which costs Rs 300 in half the price. All you need to learn is the art of bargaining. This makes it one of the favourite streets among the college students, as it is pocket friendly.

Bandra linking road – This is the second best fashion street in Mumbai and is an abode of almost all strata of the society. Elites, industrialists and college students prefer this place as most of the shops sell goods which are a replica of the same goods sold in a posh showroom. There is a mix of departmental stores, brand outlets, street-side carts and regular shops that sell clothes and accessories. One can also find many restaurants and cafes along side the road. Though its official name is Vitthalbhai Patel Marg, it is more famous as Linking Road.

Colaba Causeway - Colaba Causeway is a huge shopping hub of Mumbai. Different varieties of clothing materials, imported and handmade high value items, and cosmetics are available in the shops. The area is thickly populated with shops, hotels, cinema halls and restaurants. It is a shopping place catering to price conscious shoppers to tourists.


All Mumbai fashion streets are famous for their collection of junk jeweleries but one disadvantage of this place in Mumbai is that sometimes one may end up getting low quality good. Thus, don't forget to check the quality before buying as there are goods which are not of good quality and are defective. There are chances of a missing button or a small hole in the top.
