Bangalore is one of the most beautiful places in India which also welcomes a number of other negative beings. The recent ghost sightings witnessed by some Bangaloreans will leave you gasping for air and needle like goosebumps.

The Beautiful Follower
As 22 year old Sangeeta recounts .... "Walking home alone mid-afternoon in the scorching sun after college, I came across something heavy hovering around me. The feeling was unusual and didn't seem right. As my mother always told me never to look behind, I disobeyed and did. No one walking behind neither beside me left me feeling creepy. But, the feeling of another presence was definitely there. As I began to walk faster, the tinkle of anklets was heard and as I ran it became prominent to the ears. On reaching my house situated near a railway track, my mother stood at the door waiting to bless the front door. According to my mother, born with a veil, saw the unwanted presence of a beautiful young follower walking behind me."

As Abhilash recounts.... "My cousin came home the day before for a party. Being the gentleman that I am, gave her my room to rest for the night. After 5 minutes of settling in my room, she ran out looking disturbed like she saw a ghost. When asked her what happened, she said that while looking into the mirror and combing her hair the old lady next door looked at her and warned her not to scream and leave. As accounted by my cousin the old lady's look was displeasing to the eyes. The worst part was - the house my cousin looked into was abandoned 6 years agoand the old lady had died long back."

A frightened 14 year old Desiree says... "I love sleeping beside my elder sister as I am afraid of ghosts and all bad things. However last night my sister suddenly woke to a scream only she heard. My frantic parents in the other room came running into our little blue room wondering what the problem was. Looking at my shocked shaking sister, she began to describe the cold touch she felt on her arm and the sweet smelling jasmines that rubbed her cheeks. Astounded by this explanation, at that point of time our family even got a strong smell of Agarbatti surrounding the room. Though we saw no ghost, the presence of an uninvited guest was there."
