Types Of Co-Workers To Avoid
Your first day at office is exactly like the first day in a new school. You get all dressed up for the first day at work, and welcome the new workplace without knowing anyone. Well, the first day is always kind of a different one where you get to interact with employees and employers.
Like school, you make new friends however, you also come across some wrong co-workers who can put you in trouble. It is just like school where you make friends, but then later troubles start and the true colours come out. So, there are some types of co-workers you should avoid at your workplace. From the complaining co-worker to the credit taker co-worker, here is a list of co-workers you must avoid at office.
Types Of Co-workers To Avoid:
Complaining Co-worker: In every team there is a colleague who keeps complaining about something or the other. This type of co-worker spoils the team spirit and can also make you feel demotivated. To deal with such colleagues at workplace, make sure that you do not agree to whatever they say. Once you agree, they might keep a gun on your shoulder and shoot! But make sure you have a point to prove as to what you are saying is correct.
Troublemaker: There is this type of co-worker who loves creating troubles and keep looking to invite unwanted attention. These type of colleagues love inviting trouble especially when things are not running according to them. This leads to problems between the employee and employer. To work with such colleagues, it is best to avoid them.
Credit Taking Co-worker: In most of the companies, you will find such type of co-workers. They love taking credit of things that they have not done. And whenever they do a mistake, they will easily put the blame on any other teammate! It is best to avoid such co-workers, but if you have to work with them, then make sure your employer knows what you are working on.
Over-Friendly: If your co-worker acts too over-friendly, it is best to keep a safe distance. Becoming over-friendly puts both you and your co-worker in a mess. So, just focus on your work and go with the flow.
The Word Spreader: It is very important to be careful from such co-workers. They take all the information from you and then like a buttering employee, blabber it all out in front of their head. Talk to them but do not disclose your deep hidden secrets. Never ever complain about any co-worker. You might end up having an unwanted hatred at work.
These are the types of co-workers you should avoid.
