The Joy Of Vacation

Vacation
The people who plan to take a break to go on a vacation are happier than those who don't have such plans. The thought of vacations induce positive feelings in a person, though there may be no such difference in the level of happiness between the both after the trip.

Psychologists say that in some cases, increased happiness will be noticeable for the first two weeks after the journey but the effects ceases completely after 8 weeks, when the people have to come back to the work or the regular routines.

This study of 'how vacations impact happiness' is conducted by the team led by Jeroen Nawijn from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences.
