WIFW 2014 Day 3: Masaba For Satya Paul

The much awaited show of Day 3 of the ongoing Wills India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2014 was a treat to the eyes. It was none other than the ace designer, Satya Paul. Masaba Satya Paul have been working together for more than a year and the designer duo has beautifully blended traditional and contemporary modern designs.

Masaba for Satya Paul's autumn winter 14-15 collection is named Icarus and consisted of silhouettes which a woman would crave to have in her wardrobe. Unstitched sarees are their popular outfits however, wearable, pre-stitched sarees were seen on the ramp.

Combinations of toffee brown, lilac, crimson, nude, mint and soft pink are colour-blocked with metallic accents. Deep burgundy has also been used extensively through the collection as a rich undertone. Accessories like cute haversacks, vanity cases, stoles, scarves and holdall bags were used in the Icarus collection of Masaba for Satya Paul.

Shift dresses and shirts paired with effortless outerwear; winter capes, woolen skirts, colour-blocked shift dresses and jersey outerwear, jumpers and tunics dominated the autumn winter collection of Satya Paul.

The most stunning use of pastels with metallic red borders. Bold colour patches, fresh, cheerful & interactive prints Quirky and eccentric designs, flowy colorful sarees wrapped up Masaba for Satya Paul's show.
