We have already seen Kate Middleton wear the red pleated knee length Alexander McQueen dress in 2012 at Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames. That time, the Duchess of Cambridge carried on the look with a red hat by Sylvia Fletcher and nude pumps.

This time, we saw Kate Middleton wear the red woolen long sleeve pleated red dress with simplicity and style like before. She ditched the red hat and kept the evening look simple with a black clutch and black pumps.

What looks more surprising is that we have seen the same dress of the curvy and sexy Kim Kardashian as well. Kim wore the bright red pleated McQueen dress with ankle strap snake print heels and accessorised the look with a heavy necklace.

When compared, Kate Middleton has worn the red McQueen dress with style and elegance both the times. At the Buckingham Palace Kate and Queen Elizabeth II welcomed movie stars like Uma Thurman, Helen Mirren, Hugh Laurie, Helena Bonham Carter, Joan Collins and Joely Richardson to a reception honouring Britain's theater and film stars. Kate looked perfect for the occasion. The red pleated dress, black pumps and black clutch looked nice.

Kate Middleton completed the evening look with light makeup, matte lips and side swept silky hair.
