Bridal Diaries: Dia Mirza's Sangeet Ceremony

Dia Mirza's big day is finally here and she is geared up to put a ring on it. The Bollywood beauty is marrying her long term boyfriend, Sahil Sangha. A few days back we saw Dia Mirza in a stunning Ritu Kumar marigold chandari anarkali at one of her wedding ceremonies. Again, this beauty has made our jaws drop with a number from Anita Dongre.

The fashion designer Anita Dongre has a vast bridal collection which will make anyone's eyes pop. The suits worn by Dia Mirza on her wedding ceremonies were extravagant and heavy. The colours that were chosen for Dia Mirza is making her look all the more gorgeous.

Being her wedding day Dia Mirza made sure she selected a good designer to gather a lot of attention. The Anita Dongre suit was selected from the autumn/winter 2014 collection. The suit is heavy on her due to the extra detailing. The embellishments on the entire lehenga is only gold. Thick thread work on the skirt and the sheer purple dupatta completes Dia's bridal look.

Even for her sangeet, Dia had a touch of purple to her marigold Ritu Kumar anarkali. What seems to be, purple might be the theme of her wedding too. However, the choli she wore with this lehenga was of a dull gold. Looking closely at the stunning choli, it had a few sequins and stones making the bridal to be look impeccable.

The make Dia choose to wear for her wedding ceremony was rich. Her cheeks were blushing just like any other bride and her eyes had a smokey and striking effect. Dia's lipstick wasn't too vibrant which wrapped her bridal look well.

Dia complemented her purple lehenga with kundan jewellery. Her earrings matched the colour of the Anita Dongre lehenga and so did her mang tilak and necklace. She wore no fancy rings too as she kept her finger bare for her wedding ring. However, the palms of her hands were decked with bridal mehendi which was dark enough to prove her love for Sahil.

On the other hand, the groom Sahil Sangha looked dashing in a Manish Malhotra sherwani. This time he opted for a bold colour to match his bride to be Dia Mirza. A blood red pocket square, white pyjamas and black formal shoes completed his manly wedding look.
