Golden Globes Awards 2013: The Winners

The Golden Globe awards of 2013 has upset quite a few and put some on cloud nine. The winners of th Golden Globes has not turned out as expected. Everyone expected the Golden Globe Awards 2013 to be a precursor to the Oscars like every year. However, this year the results of this prestigious award function has made quite a buzz. Firstly because no one was expecting such results for the best feature film of 2013 category.

The best film of 2013 is divided into 2 separate categories in the Golden Globes awards. There are the drama and the Musical or comedy categories. This categorisation allows films with a different flavour like a comedy or musical to be judged differently. The best actor 2013 categories has also been divided accordingly. So there are 2 sets of winners of the Golden Globes for each category.

The biggest surprise of the 2013 Golden Globes was Argo. This film directed by Ben Affleck won both the best film of 2013 and the best director awards, The best part is that Argo has received very few nominations in the Oscars so this is a huge upset.
