To mark the special occasion of Teacher's Day, lets us also look at some of the famous teachers in history who have been inspiring the present teachers. On this special occasion of Teacher's Day, we commemorate the birthday of one of the most famous teacher in history, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He is a man with honour and grace, and qualities which he has as a teacher sets a good example for the present generation of teachers.

Teacher's Day is celebrated with grandeur in all schools and colleges all over India. Teachers are given presents and treated with extra care and made to feel special too. These great and famous teachers in history have made a remarkable impression on most of our teachers today. For example, we come across teachers who are patient when it comes to handling their students. Some teachers are also a role model for their students and thus this brings out the special bond between a teacher and student.
