Pizzas are one of the most popular foods in the world. Modern pizzas are basically oven-baked, flat, round bread topped with a tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings. Its origin though dates back to the Greek wherein their version of pizzas was bread covered with oils, herbs and cheese. In the ancient Egypt, the first pizzas were cooked to celebrate the Pharaohs birthday and it basically was a flat bun seasoned with herbs. Modern pizzas are said to be originated in Italy as the Neapolitan flat bread.

Pizza became popular in the United States with the arrival of Italian immigrants in the late 19th century, and was very popular among large Italian population which later went on to be one of their staple diet foods among the young Americans.

The most popular among these chains started to spread across the globe and reached the shore of India to stay. Good thing about the pizzas is that its adaptable to any culture. With basic dough and sauce, the toppings can be varied according to local taste and likings and yet be very tasty. Apart from the chain of pizza restaurants who offer pizza at affordable price, there are fine dining restaurants that offer speciality pizzas which cost anywhere between Rs.60,000/- to Rs.7,50,000/-!
