Filmfare 2013 Red Carpet: Best Dressed Celebs
Filmfare Awards 2013 was a mega event in terms of fashion. We saw the who is who of Bollywood celebrities walk down the red carpet of Filmfare in their eloquent style. The Filmfare awards 2013 was one of the biggest events that will set the fashion trends for the year.
Most of the Bollywood celebrities are dressed their best for the Filmfare awards red carpet. We got quite a long list of best dressed celebrities even for the nomination night of Filmfare awards 2013. So it is only to be expected that the celebs try to dress on the occasion of the main event.
Some of the celebrities on the best dressed list are usual suspects like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. But we have some new bees who made quite an impression with their appearance in Filmfare for the first time. Some of these names would be Huma Qureshi (Gangs Of Wasseypur) and Varun Dhawan (Student of the Year). We have a few surprise in the best dressed celebrities like Irrfan Khan and R Madhavan as well.
Looks like the men are tired of waiting in the wings while the women take all the credit for being well dressed! Here are the best dressed celebrities who walked the red carpet of Filmfare awards 2013.
Deepika Padukone: Black Lace
Deepika looked all feminine and Gothic at the same time in this super chic Prabal Gurang gown. The gown had scooped sleeves and portions of the waist were covered in transparent net.
Madhavan's Trench Coat
It isn't exactly cold any more but Madhavan's trench coat style is something that heated up the red carpet. This broad lapel coat is a good replacement for the usual tuxedo.
Priyanka In Neon Blue
Piggy Chops was seen in a vibrant Armani Privé silk gown. Keeping with the latest fashion, it was neon blue in colour.
Chitrangada Singh: Yellow Saree
Chitrangada looked ethnic and suave in a lovely double toned saree from Anad Kabra's collection. The body of the saree had a swirl print in light brown and the pallu or drape was dark yellow in colour.
Madhuri Dixit: Blue Shimmering Gown
Madhuri Dixit walked in Dr Nene's arm wearing a shimmering midnight blue Alberto Makali gown. It was hard to decide which is brighter, Madhuri's 100 watt smile or the shining dress.
Sridevi: Orange Off Shoulders Gown
Coming back to the silver screen has done wonders to Sridevi. The simple house wife of 'English Vinglish' looked exquisite in an Alberta Ferretti off shoulders gown.
Irrfan Khan: Black Sherwani
Irrfan Khan is not someone who dresses very elaborately for award functions. But this time Mr Paan Singh Tomar made an exception with this intricately designed sherwani and the lovely blue stole to go with it.
Aditi Rao Hydari: Metallic Saree
We saw this new bee sizzle on the nomination night in a lovely red gown. For the main event, Aditi wore an interesting saree with a metallic sheen from Gaurav Gupta's collection.
Anushka: Neon Yellow Backless Gown
Anushka Sharma was looing hideous on the nomination night. But she more than made up for that with a bright neon yellow backless gown.
Varun Dhawan: Wine Colured Jacket
The new hunk in town Varun Dhawan from 'Student Of the Year' fame has made quite a mark on the red carpet. We like his wine coloured jacket and his casual style statement.
Vidya Balan: Checked Saree
Vidya Balan stuck to her trademark Sabyasachi saree for Filmfare awards. She looked great in the simple checked saree and some bonus points for the newly married glow!
Alia Bhat In A Lehenga
Alia Bhat looked radiant in a glamourous Manish Malhotra lehenga. The lehenga was royal blue in colour with pink trimmings and silver work.
Parineeti's Black Gown
