Gulab Jamun- It is one of the favorite Indian dessert which is best eaten hot. It is made of a dumpling of thickened milk (khoya) dipped in rose flavored sugar syrup. It is a sweet that is in high demand on all Indian occasions.

Gajar Ka Halwa- Carrot pudding or gajar ka halwa is one of the most favorite and highly popular Indian desserts. It is very easy to prepare and is best enjoyed hot or cold.

Rasgulla– The syrupy rasgulla is popular in India as well as the South Asian countries. It is made from chhena balls (form of Indian cottage cheese) and semolina (suji). You can find different flavours of rasgullas like that of saffron, rosewater, jaggery and mango.

Kheer- Kheer (payasam) is a traditional and easy to make sweet dish. It is made by boiling rice or wheat in milk. It can also be flavored with cardamom, raisins, saffron, cashews and other dry fruits.

Kaju Barfi (Cashew Fudge)– Kaju Barfi is usually framed in a diamond shape with a coat of silver wrap. It is one of the most poplular gifted sweets in India. Its main ingredients are cashew nuts, sugar and other dry fruits.

Laddoo- This Indian dessert is not only popular in India but, in many parts of South Asia. Ladoo is one sweet dish that is mostly used for gifting on auspicious eves.

Jalebi– Jalebis are primarily prepared by frying batter in a pretzel shape. The crunch of jalebis comes from the crystallized sugar coating on their top. They are also made out of chhena and are best enjoyed when hot.

Shrikhand– It is made out of strained and sweetened yogurt. It's preparation is easy but a little time consuming. But, it will surely please your taste buds when flavored with rose water and saffron.

Rasmalai– Rasmalai is one of the most favourite sweet dish of the Indian sub-continent. It is composed of flattened balls of paneer (cottage cheese) soaked in malai (clotted cream) and flavored with cardamom.

Kulfi– Kulfi is a frozen dessert made out of milk. It is available in a variety of flavors like pistachio, rose, mango, cardamom etc.
