You must have heard that there are seven wonders of the world. And we all want to visit these wonders. But there are more than seven natural wonders in the whole world that will take you with awe. These are amazing natural landscapes in the world of geology. You will find great pleasure in visiting these places. These natural wonders include mountains, cliffs, lake and so on. Take a look at some of these world wonders.

The Grand Canyon- It is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States. This is one of the greatest natural wonders that many people aspire to visit at least once in their lifetime. It is a fissure in the Colorado plateau that has been created for millions of years by the action of the Colorado river. This great fissure on the earth's surface is a wondrous sight to behold. This is one of the natural wonders that has also a National Park alongside.

This has been declared as one of the World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO due to its amazing rock formations and the rare species that dominate the landscape.

Crystal Cave, Bermuda- This is a subterranean cavern located close to Castle Harbour. This is about 500mts long and 62mts deep. It is of limestone and is also noted for its many subterranean waterways. It is one of the most beautiful deep crystal pools. And this can also be considered among the most amazing natural wonders of the world.

Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia- This dry salt lake happens to be one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world. This is a flat salt crust on the earth's surface and contains huge reserves of lithium. The best time to visit this place is the rainy season as the whole lake forms a mirror whereby you can see the clouds below your feet.
