The onset of the US Presidential Elections (2012) will see the participation of many youngsters, including the teen pop star and Disney star, Selena Gomez. Selena, who will complete 19 next month, is very excited about casting her votes for the first time.

Selena Gomez wants to voice her opinion about she and others of her age being the child of 'next generation'. She is also very excited about participating with her family in the voting, as she feels it is fun.

Selena Gomez is very curious to know about the topics that the new presidential candidates are choosing for the campaign. Selena Gomez ran a campaign when she was sixteen, to encourage them to vote. Gomez feels that the contribution of this generation's youngsters is essential for solving various issues.

The 'Wizards of Waverly Palace' star has shown more interest in issues related to education and global warming. Selena Gomez feels that the politicians should show more concerns to issues on the national front, rather that the international front. Selena also commented that politicians should concentrate more on helping the people of their country rather that other countries, which they have already done in the past.
