British author, J. K. Rowling, has become the new face of Labour"s 'working class heroes', in its bid to win back voters.

Rowling, 44, author of Harry Potter series, was named in a new video, released on November 18, that was designed to show true 'Brit grit'.



It described the writer as the one who opened rejection letters from her bedsit in Edinburgh with the dream of bringing the pleasure of reading to children.

The broadcast also features famous figures like the early , Keir Hardie.
