On the worst movies ever list for 2008, by Fox News, 'Seven Pounds' and the latest Bond flick 'Quantum of Solace' on the top.

Directed by Gabriele Muccino, Seven Pounds is a drama film in which Will smith plays a man who is heading to change the lives of seven strangers. 'Quantum of Solace' however appears to be a direct sequel to 'casino Royale'

The others in the list are the sci-fic movie 'Cloverfield' and Meryl Streep starring 'Mamma Mia!'. This is a stage to film adaptation and also features Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, Christine Baranski and Julie Walters.

Out of all these movies on this list, I've seen one of them which was Quantum of Solace (which I own only to collect, I've watched it only twice on DVD and have owned it now for about a year). From my perspective, Quantum of Solace is the second WORST film in the history of the James Bond series besides On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969 with George Lazenby. Hiring the crew from the Bourne series was Barbara Broccoli's first mistake. Barbara, have you really forgotten Bond's last name? It's BOND, not Bourne. Stop trying to turn BOND into Bourne! The film itself started out poor. The title song (sung lead by R&B artist Alicia Keys) was just about unbearable to listen to and I know that Alicia Keys can sing better than that. The story line was garbage, but I'll give them the good effort as this story line was written during the famous writer's strike. To further demonstrate my disappointment in this film, the cameras were embarrasingly "everywhere", to the point where "you couldn't even tell what the hell was going on", a statement made from retired Bond actor Roger Moore after seeing the film. But I guess that's what you get when you hire the Bourne crew to do a Bond film! The action itself is what really saved this disastrous film from becoming a total 1 star stinker. James Bond needs a good recovery with Bond 23. I also want to see Q and Miss Moneypenny come back. Those rumors about them both originating in New York better not be true, because if they are, we can all kiss the Bond series goodbye! Review of "Quantum of Solace" (2008) Overall Rating: 1.5/5 stars
