New Delhi : Celebrating nation's pride, JMD Ltd today announced a unique reward for Sushil Kumar, who became the first Indian Olympic bronze medallist in 66 kg freestyle wrestling.

Sunil Bedi, director and chairman, JMD group will gift Sushil a luxury car of his choice and preference.

"It is a great achievement by Sushil. He is the new icon for Delhi and I will give him his dream car for his extraordinary effort and performance in the Olympics," Mr Bedi said.

Boxer Vijender Kumar created history on Wednesday after he became India's third medal winner at the Beijing Olympics. Vijender defeated Carlos Gongora of Ecaudor, assuring him an entry into the semi-finals as well as at least a bronze medal. Wrestler Sushil Kumar on Wednesday brought further international glory to India by winning the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics after 56 years. He won the medal in the men's 66 kilograms freestyle category, defeating Leonid Speiridonov of Kazakhistan. Khashaba Jadhav of Karad, Maharashtra, was the last Indian wrestler to win an individual bronze in the Helsinki Olympics in 1952. i wish they would also give him enough petrol to drive around in it. And change sports infrastructure of his event at least sponsor him for a few years how about that
