Labrador is a popular dog in almost every country, and animal lovers normally tend to go in for this breed. They are commonly known as 'dog people' and usually loved by all. Now, just like any other dog, Labradors love to eat all kinds of food. But, since they are the type of breed who are prone to falling sick often, one is afraid of looking after one.

To own a Labrador and prevent health problems, you should be aware of what kind of food your lab should and should not eat. It is human tendency to give the dog meat and bones, but we should also know that vegetables and other products are good for them.

Today, Labradors have become a money making business for people. There are times when dog breeders sell sick Labrador puppies to the buyer. We buyers in turn are unaware of behaviour and thus come to a conclusion that labradors are sick dogs.

The creamy white yogurt is everyone's favourite. Yogurt added to your dog's rice is a good dairy supplement for them. Yogurt kills bad germs in your doggy's mouth.

The white of an egg is good for labrador if they have health problems like Gastric Torsion or bloating. Egg white helps to revitalise your dog's energy, thus keeping him fit.

Adult labrador needs to consume 2 liters of water daily. Water helps in removing bad toxins in the body. Make sure that you give clean water at least thrice in a day.

Leftovers

Some say that human left overs are not good for labrador since they are prone to getting allergies. If you are in the habit of feeding your lab with leftovers, non-seasoned food is a safer option.
