The granny cat Jessie is entering into the list of UK's oldest felines, recently. Her 28th birthday is approaching in the coming days.

Joyce Elliott, 57, of South Shields, Tyne and Wear, owns the cat. The owner only named her as 'Jessie.'

Jessie is still surprisingly sprite of her age. Elliott is upbeat that the puss is Britain's oldest cat.

In human terms, Jessie will be 129 in August.
