Tricks To Maximise Space In Your Refrigerator

Summer is the time when your refrigerator is taxed to the maximum. You tend to stuff everything into the fridge because food tends to get spoiled quickly in the heat. The demand for chilled water and beverages also increases during the summer. That is why, you need to maximise the space in your refrigerator for this season. When you need more space in your refrigerator, you don't necessarily have to go and get yourself a new one. All you have to do is maximise the usable space in your refrigerator.

SIMPLE TIPS TO DEFROST REFRIGERATOR

Actually, we hardly use all the space in our fridge. We just randomly stuff things in the refrigerator and it looks full when we open it. The key is to maximise the space in your refrigerator by using your organisational skills. You have to plan what you put into your refrigerator and also where you put it.

Here are some tricks to get more space in your refrigerator than you have normally.

Maximise Space In Refrigerators | More Space | Usable Space

Use The Right Size Of Vessels
There is no point in keeping 2 spoons of curry in a huge bowl. Once you are done with eating, transfer all the leftovers into smaller bowls. Save the space that is occupied by replacing the bigger pots and pans with smaller bowls in the fridge.

Segregate
There are some items that are meant to go into the chiller, frozen food have to be kept in the freezer and the rest go into the shelves of the fridge. Always keep bottles in the door panels of the refrigerator. Once you segregate the items that have to be kept in the freezer, there is usually more usable space on the shelves.

Bottles
Always buy bottles that can fit into the side panels of the refrigerator. Keeping the large bottles on the shelves in a slanting position takes up lot of space unnecessarily. It is a complete waste of space.

Do Not Accumulate Junk
Just like the rest of your home, the refrigerator also keeps accumulating lots of junk. A little bit of curry that you made 2 weeks back, wrappers of chocolates that you have finished eating and bottles that have little or no liquid left are always found in the fridge. You need to throw all this junk out to maximise space in your refrigerator.

One On Top Of The Other
When you use air-tight containers to store leftovers, you have the luxury of placing one container on top of the other. In this way, you can make more space in the refrigerator.

These are simple tips to organise your refrigerator shelves so that you can get more space to store things in summer. Be smart and get the most out of available space in your refrigerator.
