Mud stains can be very difficult to handle, especially during the rainy season. Maintaining white clothes in school can be difficult because of mud stains, especially in rainy season.

The following are a few ways to maintain your clothes during the rainy season. You can use these methods to remove stains from uniform. Take a look.

Dry off the dirt
If the stain is from wet mud, allow it to dry off completely. Do not try to wipe away the dirt. This will only spread the stain and mess up the entire shirt, which will in turn move into the fabric fibres. After the dirt is completely dried, either vacuum it or brush it off carefully without trying to mix it into the fabric. Use a small brush or toothbrush to remove stains from uniform.

Liquid Detergent
The next thing you need to do to maintain white clothes in school is that you need to use a few drops of liquid detergent on the stain. Then, rub the stain with your thumb and index finger. Then, add a few drops of water and then keep rubbing the stain in a circular motion, or you can use a brush or toothbrush to rub it off. This process needs to be repeated till the stain is completely removed.

Fabric Care
After mud is dried out, it is usually better to follow the instructions of the fabric care guideline. This will help maintain the quality of your shirt while you are trying to remove the stain. Check carefully if the stains are removed. If they are not, clean it again with a washing detergent till the stain is completely gone. Do not let the clothes dry before the stain is removed as this will cause the stain to set in.

When your stain is already set in, it becomes quite difficult to clean white clothes. To remove stains that have set in, you can use hand washing. You can clean both sides of the clothing. Use a brush to scrub the stain from the clothing. Allow the cleaner to set in for about an hour before washing.
