Wet a cotton ball in water or soap water and then clean the dirty spots on the Christmas tree. Wipe off with a dry cloth piece. It is a simple tip to clean the dirt from an artificial Christmas tree at home.

Vacuum Cleaner: If the tree is huge and wants proper dust removal, then use a vacuum cleaner. Attach a bristle brush and first try at the base of the tree. Do not use a strong vacuum as it can topple the tree. If the vacuum is strong, use another attachment. Always vacuum from the top of the tree as dust will fall down. Be patient and vacuum the tree slowly with patience. Make sure you do not vacuum around the branches. If the branches are sucked into the hose, it will spoil the machine.

Soapy Water: This is another cleaning tip to clean your artificial Christmas tree. Add a mild soap or liquid in water. Do not use harsh chemicals as it can dis-colour your tree and spoil it. Now soak a clothe piece and wring it. Make sure the towel is damp enough to collect the dust and clean it as well. Now hold the tree leaves and branches, and wipe off the dirt using the wet cloth. It is suggested to use dust rag as it will not tangle in the tree.
