How To Reuse Old Toys?

Old Toys Reuse
Memories and old toys are the only things you are left with when your kids move out of your home. Coming up from the nostalgic mode, kids outgrow toys very quickly these days. They do not really have to go to college or move out, the toys that they played with as toddlers are discarded in favour of play stations soon enough. So these toys lie around and clutter your house until and unless you decide to reuse things productively.

If you want to decutter your home by converting old toys into something useable then you will find these ideas useful.

Ways To Reuse Old Toys:

1. Cushions Out of Soft Toys: Most of us do not like to destroy soft toys because they continue to be adorable even after your kids outgrow them. However, some are irrevocably damaged by the growing years of the kids. If it looks ugly no point saving it. You can make a cushion cover of the same dimensions as the toy and stuff it in. It will look like a interestingly shaped cushion and no doubts about the comfort element of it.

2. Trays Out Of Trucks: Did your little boy love toy trucks? Now that he is busy with his computer those old trucks must be permanently parked in the scrapyard in his room. You can resurrect these old toys and make the best out of waste. Try making trays out of them. Just take of the front portion of the truck; you may or may not remove the wheels in which case it will be a mobile truck.

3. Barbie Hair: All those shapely blonde dolls are just lying in there doll's house because their owner is too busy doing makeup. You can end their misery. How? By chopping off their hair! It is kind of mean but Barbie hair because of its great quality can be put to decorative purposes. You can stick in greeting cards or the borders of your frames for a feathery look.

4. Hang The The Loose Rag Dolls: And they are to hang until death! Such cruelty! But isn't it much better for them to adorn your walls that accumulate dust in the corner of the nursery? The rag dolls with dangling hands and legs look really cute when hung from a post on the wall. You can decorate the living room walls with these; it will be your personal family shrine of memories.

5. Puzzles And Board Games: The way your kids assaulted the jigsaw puzzles when they were unable to solve them is not even funny. Now that they will not be making pictures out of jigsaw or playing board games like Chinese checkers, you can make the best out of waste. Wrap the boards with a brightly coloured paper, even it out nicely and stick random pieces of the jigsaw puzzles on it. It will be your own masterpiece.
