The festivals in India are celebrated with immense zeal and fervour. Festivals are considered to be an auspicious time. And when we think of festivals the first thing that comes to our mind is the riot of colours, flowers, energy, ornaments and lots of sweet treats which makes the occasion a lot of fun. Even some pieces of colourful clothes such as dupattas, scarf or chunnis would be used for decoration during festivals to enhance or embellish the decor. Usually the festival decorating starts at least a week before the big day as most people prefer to get all set to make their house to look the best. They start to clean, scrub and polish their abode so as to bring prosperity and happiness in their lives. You would be wondering about how to decorate your home for festivals.
