Going with its mission to be the most visible, accessible and experientially memorable Retail Brand for Home and Office Improvement, Godrej Lifespace brings to life Moodspace, a personalized retail initiative for home decor.

Raising the bar on advanced customer comfort retailing, Moodspace enhances the home decor retail experience.

'Emerging from months of exhaustive consumer research, Moodspace is a concept which draws upon the emotional element within the shopper to help him or her "create the mood" which translates into the product selection.

On entering the store, expert Lifespace Mood Consultants personally assist the shopper with several Moodspace tools to come closer to 'sensing' the eventual desired decor at the home.

'Each customer is provided an exclusive Moodspace Kit that comprises of mood cards and catalogues,' he added "Consumer retailing is becoming more specialized and it is important to have a pulse of customer needs. Our research has shown us that when consumers are looking to buy home decor products, what they are actually trying to do first is create a mood in their minds. Moodspace is a unique retailing concept which helps the customer enter into that mood and visualize the setting that will eventually rest in the home," Mr Motwani said.

He said the new products would be rolled out in select markets like Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Pune before expanding it to other parts of the country.
