This will keep your mind agitated. Instead, listen to soft, soothing music before going to sleep. This will help to calm your mind.
Keep the room cool. You drift off faster to sleep and get better sleep if the room is cooler. Wearing earplugs may also help block undesirable noise.
Falling asleep at the same time each day helps you to fall asleep faster. This will condition the body to drift off to sleep faster by developing a sleep habit.
Herbal teas or a glass of milk also help to unwind the body. It will help to relax the brain as well. With a relaxed body and mind, you will fall asleep faster.
