Kidneys are the two bean shaped organs present in a human body. The main function of a kidney is to filter the waste products from the blood and remove the toxins from the body. It also helps in balancing the fluid level in the body. The moment the kidney stops performing normally, one starts developing a lot of health issues.

Keeping a check on the food that we eat is very important to keep the kidneys healthy. Consuming foods containing high cholesterol and fat are just one of the food types that can affect the kidneys.
