1. Crohn's Disease
Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disorder and its initial symptoms include lesions and ulcers in the mouth, especially on the inside of the cheeks and lips.
2. Diabetes
If you are experiencing constant bleeding in the gums, receding gums, dry mouth, loose teeth, etc., you must definitely get yourself checked for diabetes!
3. Oral Cancer
Some of the initial symptoms of this deadly disease are red and white lesions in the mouth, especially on the tongue and roof of the mouth, they are usually painless, so it might be difficult for the patient to notice them.
4. Anaemia
This is a blood disorder in which the red blood cells (RBCs) count in the blood decreases due to iron deficiency. The initial symptoms include the inner lining of the patient's mouth turning very pale and dry.
5. GERD
It is also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease. GERD is a digestive disorder which can disturb the acid balance in your stomach, causing extreme acidity. The initial symptoms can include painful ulcers in the mouth.
6. HIV
This fatal sexually transmitted disease, as we all know, has no cure and one of its initial symptoms include multiple lesions and ulcers in the mouth, which keep recurring.
7. Stress
Extreme stress can also lead to the formation of ulcers in the mouth and dryness in the mouth due to hormonal changes that occur in the brain.
