Foods play an important role in maintaining a better health. Foods can make you healthy and at the same time can make you sick. Having wrong foods such as oily foods, processed foods, packaged foods, junk foods, foods containing sweeteners etc will deteriorate your health.
However, age is also important in determining what kind of food is good for you. When you have crossed your 20's, many diseases can find way in your body such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, high cholesterol etc. Especially if you are having a family history of these diseases then you are under high risk.
Eating wrong foods at this age can put in much trouble while as eating right foods will offer protection to you from these lifestyle diseases. The rate of metabolism decreases with age so you keep on storing the excess calories ad can't metabolise excess fats and other foods.
This also makes you more vulnerable for diseases at a particular age. So always eat foods according to your age.
If You Are 20
If you are in your 20's then you can eat all kinds of foods but the key is to maintain a balance. At this age your metabolism is high and your body copes well with the toxins. However, also eat enough of fruits, vegetables and whole-meal grains. Your skin will be glowing by eating these foods.
If you are 30
Your diet should not increase foods which can increase your blood sugar or cholesterol level. In your 30's the risk for diabetes, cholesterol, obesity and other lifestyle diseases increase. Include more fibres in your diet such as whole grains, oats, cereals, fruits, vegetables etc. Also avoid junk foods, processed and oily foods.
If you are 40
When you are in your 40's you must eat diet rich in antioxidants. During your 40's the need of your body is to fight with the free radicals which cause damage to the body organs. Eat more of raw tomatoes, pomegranate, cherries, berries etc which supplies you with enough antioxidants. Avoid foods that cause gases and flatulence such as red meat, processed foods, pasta etc.
