You can also protect your eyes and face from the pollens by covering them with huge sunglasses and broad-brimmed hats. Make sure to change your clothes before going to bed and wash your hair every night to abolish the pollens.

Molds are one of the most annoying things that worsen summer allergies. Molds can also cause asthma. Sometimes on the most humid days the number of specific mold spores can get higher. If you are allergic to molds, you should avoid going to moist and moldy places. Use masks while working in your garden or mowing your lawns.

Alcohol can worsen the effect of summer allergies. During the fermentation of wine, beer and liquor, the bacteria and yeast make a substance called "histamine" which can increase the allergy symptoms. Moreover, beer and wine also contain sulfites which can also trigger allergic reactions.

Clothes infused with formaldehyde are also one of the nastiest things that worsen summer allergies. Thus, if you are sensitive to all these kinds of clothes which have the potential to worsen your allergy symptoms, you should immediately stop wearing them.
