Take a lemon, cut it into two halves and squeeze out the lemon juice. Also drop the lemon rind into the juice so that the vitamin C and antioxidants from the peels are transferred to the juice. Leave it for a few minutes. Now add some warm water into this lemon juice and remove the seeds and lemon peels from it. Consume this lemon water along with the crushed garlic.

Take about 4-5 cloves of garlic and slice them into thin pieces, such that they are easy to swallow. Leave it for about 10-15 minutes. Now take a glassful of orange juice and swallow these garlic slices with the help of the juice. Make sure you start this treatment when you see the first signs of a cold. This can completely prevent you from catching cold or at least you can stop it from getting worse. Repeat this for a couple of nights before you go to bed for best results.
