Disorders Related To The Digestive System
The human digestive system is a very complex system that handles the processing of food and its elimination. If you are suffering from digestive diseases, your daily life may be hindered to a large extent, which is why it is better to get them treated on time before they become severe.
For example, imagine how you'd spend your day when you suffer from diarrhoea. Imagine a situation when you'd suffer from constipation. You can't afford to feel fresh for the whole day when you fail to pass the stools in the morning.
Healthy Foods That Aren't So Healthy
Even acid reflux is one of the most common digestive problems. A person suffering from an acid reflux may also experience pain in the chest and can have disturbed sleep. This is why it is better to get certain common digestive disorders treated at the earliest.
If your lifestyle lacks healthy food and sleeping patterns, your digestive system may suffer sooner or later. In this article, let's see some of the most common digestive problems that must be paid attention to.
Acid Reflux
When you feel pain in the chest and if it is due to stomach acids getting into your oesophagus then the condition is known as acid reflux, which is one of the most common digestive issues that we face. It is better to rush to the doctor if there are other symptoms observed such as nausea, bad breath or breathing issues associated with acid reflux. In fact, it is not advisable to sleep soon after eating, as it may cause an acid reflux.
Gallstones
When cholesterol or other waste products harden to form stone-like deposits in your gall bladder, the condition is called gallstones. Though there are some medicines that can dissolve the stone-like deposits, it is better to keep your lifestyle healthy to avoid this situation.
Coeliac Disease
When you are averse to gluten, your system may develop coeliac disease. Bloating, pain in the abdomen, constipation, diarrhoea, fatigue and depression are some of the symptoms of this disease. Consuming brown rice and lentils may help.
Crohn's Disease
This is a disease related to your small intestine. This is an auto-immune disease and its symptoms are diarrhea, rectal bleeding, fever and weight loss.
Ulcerative Colitis
This is a disease related to your colon. Symptoms include diarrhea, bloody stools, cramps in the abdomen, and inflammation.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Those who suffer from this disorder may experience pain in the digestive tract. Diarrhoea, constipation, dry stools are some of the symptoms. Remember that even stress may cause irritable bowel syndrome.
Haemorrhoids
When you observe blood while passing stools, you can suspect haemorrhoids. This is a condition that occurs due to an inflammation of the blood vessels in the digestive tract. Chronic diarrhoea, constipation and even diet that lacks fibre could be the causes for this disorder.
Anal Fissures
Bleeding stools and pain when passing stools could also mean fissures in the anus. Excessive strain when passing the stools can occur in this disorder.
