Healthy Ways To Give A Body Massage
Body massages is something which everyone likes. Be it a kid or an elder, body massages is one of the few things which makes you feel relaxed. These days there are a lot of people who undergo different types of stress which the body is not able to handle, this is when a body massage makes you feel like heaven on earth. The power of a body massage is known to only a few and in turn there are only a few who know to master in giving one a massage.
While you may think that your mind is the one that is most taxed, believe it or not, your body too suffers no less. To give the best healthy body massage to your loved one, here are some of the ways which will help you succeed. To give a healthy body massage to calm down the nerves and stressed veins in your partner's body, here are some of the body massage tips to follow.
NOTE: Before doing a body massage, one must have a luke warm water bath to help calm the body to room temperature. This will also keep your mind composed.
Here are some of the ways to give a healthy body massage:
Step 1
Focus on the main areas of the body which carry a lot of tension - head, neck, shoulders and back. Pour oil on your hands and start by massaging the bilateral sides of the head in a circular motion.
Step 2
Stroke up the temples and run down your hands, at the base of the neck. Now move out slowly to the shoulders, rubbing and kneading them as you proceed. This is one of the healthy ways to give a body massage.
Step 3
Using the heels of your hands and thumbs, apply pressure to your back. Work your way down the buttocks, kneading in a circular motion. However, do not forget to massage the sides of their body, from the back of the hips to the top of the legs in action too.
Step 4
Start by massaging the top of one of the legs and then the other. IGently massage the thighs, gliding lightly over the back of the knees and then to their calves, working your way up and down.
Step 5
Massage the pubic bone, stroking upward, towards the bottom of the ribcage. Run your hands over the hips and then over the rib cage. Continue for the next 5 minutes or so. It is one of the healthy ways to give a body massage.
Step 6
The last step would be to massage the neck, kneading each side gently. Start by rubbing it lightly with your thumb, along the jawbone, to just below the ear and back.
