We read health benefits of many foods but fail to include them in our daily diet or menu. The craze to have such foods last for few days or a week. This is actually not your fault. You are used to some common foods and after a span of time, you again start having those daily foods.

Did you know even the regular foods that you consume everyday also has many health benefits? Foods like eggs, bread, milk, oats, coffee, tea, juice etc are consumed almost everyday. These foods have many health benefits. They provide us nutrients, vitamins, proteins that our body needs to function properly. Moreover, they are easy to digest and are low in calories. So, if you think that you are lacking some nutritional supplements in your diet, then think again.

These foods that you consume everyday provide you with supplements that can keep you healthy and active. Here is the list of few simple foods that you consume the most and the benefits they provide on your health.

Eggs

This is one of the highly preferred breakfast dish. People either consume boiled eggs or prepare omelette and team it with bread. Eggs lies in the list of dairy products that's good for your health. It reduces the chances of cataract, prevents blood clot, improves nervous system and blood flow in the body. If you have eggs with brown bread, you can have a healthy digestion and also aid weight loss. If you are on a weight loss diet, avoid having egg yolk.

Indian bread

Commonly known as roti, this is one of the staple Indian food. Made with whole grain wheat, rotis are easy to digest, rich in fibre thus helps improve digestion, flush out toxins and also aid weight loss.

Green vegetables

Some or the other way, we eat green vegetables even if we do not like eat. Be it a slice of cabbage in a burger or chopped green vegetables curry. They are rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals that is good for your heart, nervous system, brain, eyes, skin and hair.

Potato

The shapeless vegetable is used in every household to prepare curry, roti or snacks. These shapeless potatoes are rich source of proteins, carbohydrates, potassium, thiamine, folate, magnesium, vitamins B6, C etc. If you want to gain weight then its time to include few boiled potatoes in your diet. It also improves digestion, decreases high blood pressure and inflammation in the body.

Spices

Turmeric, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, clove, cardamom, red chilli etc are few commonly used spices. They are healthy, aids weight loss and adds a flavour to the dish.

Tomatoes

Lycopene (an antioxidant) in tomatoes aids weight loss, reduces blood pressure, and prevents cardiovascular and cancer diseases.

Milk

We have milk in many ways. Be it a glass of hot milk, coffee, milk dessert or little milk with corn flakes in breakfast. This dairy product is a rich source of calcium that strengthens the bones and boosts up body energy.

Fruits

Bananas, apples, papaya, mosambi (sweet lime), berries (strawberries, blueberries, etc), grapes and oranges are highly consumed fruits. These fruits are a great source of vitamins and proteins that can aid weight loss, decrease blood pressure level and most importantly, helps digest food easily.
