Eat Fruits Without Getting Gassy
Fruits are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients. But too much consumption of fruits in a day can cause indigestion problems. Some fruits that cause gas contain a sugar called sorbitol and some soluble fibres. These do not get easily digested and hence, lead to intestinal gas formation.

but

mango
is
not
sin
free
in
regards
to
the
digestion.
Some
other
fruits
that
cause
gas
are
apples,
peaches,
pears
and
prunes.
Let us have a look into some easy methods to overcome the harmful effects of the fruits that cause gas.
Mangoes- Are you struck by the mango mania this season? Well before going for too much of it just remember that it is one of the fruits that can cause gas and bloating. This sugary, high-fiber fruit does not get easily absorbed in the blood stream and hence causes indigestion problems.
Well you can get rid of this problem very easily and then have mangoes to your hearts content. Cut only a bit of the upper part of a mango and then soak it in water for about 10-15minutes before eating it. This will help in dissolving all the harmful gas producing elements in the fruit. And you can easily treat your taste buds with mangoes without the fear of excessive gas formation after having it.
Apples- An apple a day does keep diseases away but what about the heart burns it causes? Too much consumption of apples can cause indigestion problems. It contains fiber in the form of pectin, a carbohydrate which does not easily ferment in the digestive system.
Have a preference for apples? You can have as many as you want without much side effects if you simply follow some rules before eating it. Consumption of boiled apples does not cause indigestion problems. If you are scared of having indigestion, it is advisable to boil the apples before eating them. This is a good idea as the food value also remains intact.
Peaches, Pears and Prunes- Peaches, pears and prunes contain natural sweeteners, pectin and water soluble fiber. All these fruits cause gas as they do not easily get digested.
You can easily have foods that causes gas after boiling them as they no more lead to indigestion problems. Drink lots of water before having these fruits to avoid gas problems. Well, and if nothing seems to work for you then go for digestive tablets before taking the fruits that cause gas.
It is also believed that having fruits after sundown makes you prone to acidity. So, try to have fruits during the day time. Overcome the harmful effects of these fruits that cause gas by these simple methods and take a step towards a healthy living.
