The benefits of Green Tea is well-known, due to which it's usage is also wide-spread. Today both young and old people are getting more conscious about their health and are ready to consume the most healthy food for wellness.

There are several different types of teas that offer an abundance of benefits to our body. Let us check out 5 different types of teas offer health benefits too.

5 different types of teas and their health benefits -

Blue Lotus Tea: This tea is an ideal stress buster. It works as a sedative and also offers complete relaxation. You can either use the blue lotus flower (bulb and petals) or tea bags to brew this tea. Remember to soak it for more at least 10-20 minutes to get maximum benefit of the tea. The more quantity of tea you use, the more stronger the effect is.

Oolong Tea: Oolong tea is mix of several types of leaves, thus giving a multiple flavours. This tea helps in weight loss, prevents early-aging and tooth decay. Kidney and spleen function better when you drink this tea. Pour water (heated to about 85 degrees) on the tea leaves and let it steep for less than 5 minutes. Strain it and reserve the leaves, as the best tea is obtained after the third or fourth brew.

Red Tea: Known to improve blood circulation, this tea also enhances your respiratory system. Diarrhea can be cured by consuming this tea. Pouring water such that tea leaves swirl, helps in perfect brewing of this tea. Let the tea leaves steep for 2 minutes before you strain and consume it.

Chrysanthemum Tea: The main health benefit of this tea is that it soothes tired eyes and cures common cold, cough and fever. Inflammation of the liver too reduces when you drink this tea. Use the flowers and steep them in hot water (about 90 degrees) till the water colour changes to yellow or for four minutes.

White Tea: White tea health benefits include anti-cancer properties and ability to increase bone density, thereby reducing arthritis. It also promotes growth of stronger teeth. Boil water, allow it to settle for a minute. Then pour this water on the tea leaves and leave it for 5 minutes before you consume it.
