Dr.Mark Haub says, "These foods are consumed by lots of people," he said. "It may be an issue of portion size and moderation rather than total removal. I just think it's unrealistic to expect people to totally drop these foods for vegetables and fruits. It may be healthy, but not realistic."
'Twinkie Diet', aims to eradicate the believe that junk is bad and fruits& vegetable diet is good. He says it all depends on how moderate are you in your diet. Excess of fruits, vegetables and lean protein can also led to weight gain. Whereas moderate intake of junk food may just keep you healthy. When he was on the diet, he said he used to eat till the time his hunger was quenched. This is moderate eating. This kind of diet process, controls calories and thus lead to weight loss.
Weight loss consecutively treats many other health disorders like high blood pressure, diabetes etc.
