Do you have the tendency of having cold feet and palms during winter? It happens due to iron deficiency in your body. Lean meat is a good source of iron, and your body can absorb it from meat than from any other source. Include it in your diet to stay warm.

If you're vegetarian, you can get saturated fat, protein and fibre from black beans. A bowl of black bean soup with cumin and chilli can keep your body warm and also help you fight against the bacterial attack, which otherwise can cause cough and cold.

Nuts like almonds, peanuts, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, etc, not only keep you warm in the winter season but also provide enough nutrients to your body.
