Is Eating Eggs Every Day Healthy?
You must have heard people tell you that eating too many eggs can lead to a rise in your blood cholesterol level. The reverse point of view that you must eat one egg every day to remain healthy is also equally popular. So what is the reality when it comes to eggs? It is healthy to eat eggs every day or not? Actually, eggs are one of the most misunderstood foods in the world.
9 TYPES OF EGGS THAT WE CAN EAT
It is true that eggs have cholesterol in large amounts. One egg has about 200 mls of cholesterol. But your daily intake of cholesterol from food should be more than 350 mls. So, you are just having a lot of essential cholesterol at once. But if you look at the numerous health benefits of eggs, you will find that the extra dose of cholesterol is totally worth it.
Research says that heart and coronary diseases have little to do with eating eggs every day. In fact, eggs have good cholesterol that help to balance out bad cholesterol in the blood stream. But you get doses of choline, ample proteins and zinc from eggs that make it a complete nutritional food. The best part is that eggs are easy to cook and thus you can have them every day.
According to experts, you can have to 6-7 eggs every week if you do not have any cholesterol or high blood pressure related problems. That roughly comes up to 1 egg every day. But even if you have heart problems, you can have up to 4 eggs in a week. The deal is snapped on the point of how you cook your eggs. Obviously, deep fried eggs are not healthy for your heart.
But if you have boiled or poached eggs, then you can easily eat eggs every day. It is healthy to eat eggs every day if you have a healthy diet that is otherwise not rich in calories or trans fats.
