There is a very simple explanation for this. Women ignore their health issues until they are out of hand. Signs of malnutrition do not appear suddenly. Anemia
Women, especially Indian women have anemia very commonly. Women suffer from anemia because they do not have enough iron-rich foods. Moreover, a woman's body loses iron because of menstrual blood flow and also childbirth.
Irritability
Women become hormonal very easily. When you do not get the right kind of nutrients, your hormonal balance is also affected. That is why women become irritable and have mood swings.

Malnutrition is not just the deficiency of vitamins and minerals. Even if you cut-down on carbs and proteins completely, you will end up being malnutrition stricken. But in this case, you lose lots of weight.
Weak Immunity
When your body lacks immunity building Vitamin C, Zinc and other vital nutrients, you fall sick easily. If you are suffering from one disease after another in a short span of time, you probably suffer from malnutrition.
