Menopause "end of monthly cycles", is a natural condition among women between 45-55 years of age. It is a condition when the estrogen and progesterone hormones production slows down and a woman's reproductive organs stops functioning. When a woman reaches menopause, she goes through certain hormonal changes. Moods swings, disinterest in sexual activities, fatigue, insomnia, headache, and cramps are few common effects of menopause.
There are many women who suffer from menopause in an early stage. Well, there are few natural ways to delay menopause. You can delay for few years but some day or the other, you have to face it. During menopause, a proper diet can help have a healthy menopause.
A woman becomes weak (due to calcium deficiency and weaker bones) when she is around menopause. Menopause is often linked to high blood pressure, vaginal infections, breast cancer and weight gain. Also mood swings and hormonal changes can have harmful effects on the health and mind. So, you have to be very careful during the menopause. Here is a list of healthy and nutritious foods that you must include in your menopause diet.

Trout
Fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids that curbs the chances of heart diseases and breast cancer. Women in their menopausal age are prone to such diseases. So, include healthy types of fish like trouts, salmons, herring and tuna.
Milk
Milk is an excellent source of calcium and Vitamin D which are beneficial for the women.
Whole grains
Whole grains are not only rich in fiber but they digest slowly and are great for curing constipation. As they digest easily and are low in calories, you would not gain weight.
Beans
Beans are a rich source of folic acid, Vitamin B6 and calcium. These are required by the women to not only ease menopause, but also have a healthy reproductive system during the menstrual age.
Curd
To strengthen bones and prevent diseases, include calcium rich dairy foods like curd in your diet. Low fat curd has more proteins and they do not lead to weight gain.

Soy products contain phytoestrogens which improves menopause symptoms. Moreover, soy naturally treats hot flashes.
