Farting is a natural process and there is nothing awkward about it! A recent study says an average individual farts around 12 times in a day. However, bad or stinky odour released from your fart can be an embarrassing situation to deal with at times.

Fart is made up of gasses like oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and methane. However, if your fart is made from these gasses, it will be odourless. But the addition of sulphate to your fart can make it smell really, really bad.

Sulphate is one of the primary reasons behind your smelly fart. Sulphate usually gets combined in two different ways. One by the presence of bacteria in the intestine that leads to the production of sulphate; while, on another hand, by the sulphur-rich foods that we usually tend to gorge on.

However, if you have been a victim of smelly farts, here's how you can prevent the foul-smelling odour.
