Knee pain accompanies age, but it doesn't mean that you have to live with that. There are some simple remedies to find relief.
Too much of exertion on the knees could cause knee pain. Sometimes, wear and tear could be the only reasons.
Also, deficiencies could also cause the pain. When you lack enough of iron, vitamin D and Calcium, you might experience pain. Your bones need Vitamin D. Lack of it could cause such pain.
When Calcium levels dip, your bones lose density and may turn brittle. That may also lead to knee pain. So, when you don't have enough of calcium and vitamin D, your chances of suffering inflammation and arthritis could increase.
If your knee pain troubles you for more than 7 days, only a doctor may be able to help you out. Before that, if you wish to try a home remedy then drinking a juice-mixture of orange, pineapple and cinnamon may help.
As the mixture can heal inflammation, your pains may reduce in a few days. The mixture can strengthen ligaments and tendons.
Cinnamon improves circulation; orange juice provides vitamin C which strengthens your tendon and ligaments whereas pineapple acts like an anti-inflammatory agent.
To try this remedy, you will need: honey, a cinnamon stick, 2 cups of orange juice, 3 almonds (soaked overnight), a cup of oats, 2 cups of pineapple juice and a glass of water.
First, cook the oats in the glass of water and allow it to cool down. Blend the honey, almonds, pineapple juice, cinnamon, orange juice and cooked oats.
Drink the mixture daily for a week and see if you find relief from knee pain. Meet a doctor if things don't seem to improve.
