Take a few drops of lavender oil, add a few drops of almond oil and then mix it. Apply this mixture of oil on the forehead and then massage it. It helps in providing relief from stress headaches.

4. Cinnamon:

Applying cinnamon paste on the forehead and temples helps ease headaches. One needs to take a few cinnamon sticks, grind it into a powder and add water so that it forms a thick paste. Keep it for about 15-20 minutes and then rinse it with warm water.

5. Stretching Exercises:

A few exercises like moving your head up and down, sideways and then rotating the neck both clockwise and anti-clockwise helps relax the muscles. It provides relief from stress headaches.

6. Basil:

Basil is one of the best known herbal home remedies that works as an anti-stress agent. One can just put a few basil leaves in hot boiling water, steep it for a few minutes, strain it and then drink it.

7. Cloves:

Take a few drops of clove oil and then mix it along with a few drops of coconut oil and sea salt. Apply this on the forehead and temples and massage it. This provides relief from stress-related headache.

8. Thyme:

Also known as rosemary oil, applying a few drops of thyme around the temple and forehead and gently massaging it helps in relieving headache that is caused due to stress.
