Cold and a running nose are caused when people come in contact with the allergens, which might be food, pollens, the chilly weather and this in turn leads to the production of a chemical called histamine. It is this chemical that causes a running nose, cold and sneezing among people, especially during the winter season. It is the people who have a low immunity level who are among the worst affected.
