Foods That Help Get Rid Of Bad Cholesterol
Eating healthy is definitely good for having a healthy heart. But, if you aim at reducing LDL cholesterol, you have to focus more on certain foods that will help you to achieve this aim.
Cholesterol is not a bad thing. Our body needs enough cholesterol for its normal functioning. However, this will become harmful when the LDL part of the total cholesterol increases.

The high amount of sulphur compound called allicin in raw garlic is very effective in reducing bad cholesterol. Chewing one or two garlic cloves daily will considerably improve the level of good cholesterol and reduce bad cholesterol. You can use garlic as such or as a seasoning in salads, soups, or bread.
Turmeric
There are many researches which prove that turmeric is an excellent ingredient of the Indian dishes that can reduce LDL level. Turmeric can reduce the cholesterol deposits and plaque that get accumulated on the artery walls. Drink turmeric milk or add turmeric to the curries to benefit from this ingredient.
Coconut oil
There is always a controversy about the use of coconut oil to reduce bad cholesterol. But, many researches prove that using coconut oil can reduce LDL to a significant level. Try using coconut oil and get a blood check done to note the difference.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Liver plays an important role in regulating the level of LDL. Apple cider vinegar is one of the best options to get the best result. Acetic acid in apple cider vinegar is the main factor that contributes to this property.
Coriander
Boil a mixture of two teaspoons of coriander powder and a cup of water. Strain this and drink this daily. If you prefer, add milk, sugar or cardamom and use this as a replacement for your daily sip of tea.

Green tea is a popular choice for people who want to lead a healthy life. Among the many health benefits of green tea, reduction of LDL cholesterol is the most important one. The high antioxidant content can help reduce the bad cholesterol level in the body.
